The Naive Sage Yoga Retreat: Official Policies Document

1. Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • A non-refundable deposit of $800 is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.
  • The remaining balance is due by August 1, 2025.
  • Cancellations made before July 1, 2025 will receive a refund minus the deposit.
  • No refunds will be issued after July 1, 2025.
  • Transfers to another retreat are allowed with written approval
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended. If you choose not to purchase it, you acknowledge the risk of loss due to cancellation, travel delays, or medical emergencies.

2. What’s Included

  • 4 nights’ accommodation in a boutique hotel in Paris
  • Daily yoga practices (asana, meditation, breathwork)
  • Daily breakfast and two group dinners
  • Guided cultural experiences
  • Time for reflection and connection

3. Travel & Arrival

  • Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from Paris.
  • Transportation to the hotel is not included.
  • Directions and recommended arrival times will be provided.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment.
  • It typically covers trip cancellation, delays, baggage loss, and emergency medical care.
  • We recommend a policy that covers at least $2,000 and includes international health coverage.
     Recommended providers: World Nomads, Allianz, Seven Corners.
  • IMPORTANT: If you do not purchase travel insurance, The Naive Sage LLC will not issue refunds for any reason, including:
    • Illness or personal emergency
    • Travel disruptions
    • Weather or visa/passport issues

4. Required Documents

All attendees must complete:

  • Waiver & Liability Form
  • Intake & Allergy Form Forms will be sent after registration and must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the retreat.

5. Optional Services

  • Professional Photoshoot (add-on): $100 Includes a private yoga or lifestyle photoshoot in Paris with edited high-resolution images. Bookable in advance.

6. Code of Conduct

  • All participants agree to conduct themselves with respect and care for others.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate dismissal from the retreat without refund.
  • This retreat is a safe and inclusive space for all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels.

7. Health & Safety

  • Participants are responsible for consulting their healthcare providers before attending.
  • Please disclose allergies and health conditions in the intake form.
  • The Naive Sage LLC is not liable for injuries or medical conditions arising during the retreat.

8. Photography & Media

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat.
  • By attending, you grant The Naive Sage LLC the right to use retreat images for marketing and social media.
  • If you prefer not to be photographed, notify the team in writing before the retreat begins.

9. Contingency Clause

  • In the case of unexpected circumstances (natural disaster, illness, etc.), The Naive Sage LLC reserves the right to adjust retreat plans.
  • This may include schedule changes, instructor substitutions, or limited refunds/credits depending on the situation.
